Senior Living Communities Celebrate Their Fresh New Looks

They’re reimagined, reinvented, refreshed, renovated, and ready to celebrate.

It’s been a big two years for Foulk Living and Shipley Living in Wilmington and Millcroft Living in Newark.

In late 2021, Life Care Services®, an LCS Company, took over the management of the senior living communities. A leader in senior living, LCS has been delivering on its promises for positive changes at the communities. In the early months, the communities rebranded and refocused on hospitality, community life opportunities and resident satisfaction.

More recently, Foulk Living, Shipley Living, and Millcroft Living have undergone extensive physical renovations to provide each community with an updated, fresh, welcoming look.

FOULK LIVING

Foulk Living is boasting its new look with its welcoming lobby. Corridors and shared spaces have been painted and beautifully decorated. Foulk Living’s four-season room has been made ready to truly provide a comfortable sunlit space year-round, having new walls, windows and an HVAC system. 

Foulk Living’s strikingly remodeled dining room has new wood plank flooring, updated lighting and wall coverings. New furniture, art, and window treatments will arrive for the dining room this autumn. 

The community’s new fitness center provides space and equipment for residents and staff wishing to work out. 

Foulk Living’s independent living cottages are being updated as they become available, with new kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, paint, blinds, and carpeting.

SHIPLEY LIVING

Shipley Living has significantly upped its curb appeal with its new roof, updated exterior, porte-cochère, and grand entrance. The enhancements extend through the front doors, where the lobby and corridors have been brightened. The living room features a beautiful breakfast bar adjacent to the renovated dining room, bistro, and bar. Residents are eagerly anticipating the installation of two televisions in the bar area and lots of banquette seating from which everyone can enjoy the coming football season together.

MILLCROFT LIVING

Millcroft Living’s entrance is instantly welcoming with its new concierge desk and lobby featuring wood plank flooring and gorgeous lighting and wall treatments.

Millcroft Living has a new bar/lounge space and renovated dining room and card room. The corridors and shared areas have been brightened and beautified. 

Residents, visitors, and staff are excited about the new look of the communities, and eagerly anticipating additional renovations that will be coming soon.
